In the sweltering heat of Miami, Detective Pete’s world shatters when he discovers his wife’s affair—and their ensuing split leaves him emotionally raw. But his personal turmoil is quickly eclipsed by a gruesome new case: a shape-shifting voodoo demon from Africa is on a killing spree, decapitating victims and possessing their bodies. Partnered with his sharp-witted colleague Kat, Pete must navigate a city turned paranoia-inducing maze, where trust is a luxury and the enemy could be anyone at any time. As the body count rises and the demon closes in, the duo races against the clock to stop a supernatural predator that blurs the line between the living and the dead. A chilling descent into occult horror, ‘Headhunter’ preys on the fear of losing oneself—and the dread that the true monster might already wear a familiar face.
