TerrorNerd2000 – 7/10
“I'm a sucker for true crime stories, and this one delivered a creepy vibe. The unreliable narrators kept me guessing, but the pacing sometimes dragged. Still, the twist about the victim's identity hit hard.”
GialloFan79 – 6/10
“The atmosphere is genuinely unsettling, but the film feels dated and tries to do too much. The love triangle angle was intriguing, but the resolution felt unearned. Worth a watch for Ann Hui fans.”
CrypticScream – 5/10
“Meh. While the documentary style was interesting, I never felt connected to any characters. The scares were more psychological than visceral, which may not be everyone's cup of tea. I wanted more chills.”
silent_hillbilly – 8/10
“This movie messed with my head in the best way. The shifting narratives made me feel as lost as the detectives. It's more a slow-burn mystery than a horror flick, but that final revelation gave me chills.”
