In the age of low-rise jeans and flip phones, a Persian teen desperate to shed her outsider status and blend into her new Canadian clique decides to dye her hair blonde. But the transformation unlocks a monstrous force that has been waiting for just such an invitation, and what begins as a bid for acceptance quickly spirals into a terrifying battle against an ancient evil.
