In the aftermath of a birthday celebration gone horribly wrong, a film student named Madison drags her estranged friends into the wilderness for a last-ditch effort to mend their fractured bonds. What begins as a rustic retreat rapidly devolves into a nightmare as the forest itself seems to turn against them, and the friends must confront not only the shadows lurking between the trees but the dark secrets they’ve buried with each other. As tensions mount and trust unravels, Madison realizes that some trips are meant to be permanent, and the only way out is to never have come at all.
