But as the eerie silence of the blackened landscape closes in, they stumble upon the mangled remains of a creature that defies all logic. Driven by morbid curiosity, they take the specimen for examination, unwittingly inviting an ancient, malevolent presence into their camp. As the days stretch into a sleepless, paranoid blur, the line between science and superstition blurs, and the forest itself seems to hunt them. What began as a simple expedition becomes a harrowing fight for survival against a terror that refuses to stay dead.
