A tranquil Japanese getaway descends into a waking nightmare for a mother and her two sons when a near-fatal drowning in a secluded lake awakens something ancient and insidious. As the youngest boy begins to exhibit unsettling changes—both physical and psychological—the family’s holiday becomes a desperate fight against a creeping malevolence that lurks beneath the surface. With every passing moment, the line between possession and madness blurs, and the mother must uncover the dark secret of the waters before her child is lost forever. A chilling descent into folklore-fueled terror, *Bloat* is a haunting exploration of maternal fear and the unseen horrors that wait in the depths.
