In ‘Desolation Angels,’ three privileged schoolgirls crave an escape from their gilded cages, driving deep into a remote mountain town that promises serene isolation. But their weekend of freedom curdles into a waking nightmare when they discover the local population has been replaced by a cult of sadistic psychopaths who turn the wilderness into a hunting ground. As the sun sets, a game of cat and mouse begins, where every shadow hides a grinning predator and every scream is swallowed by the vast, indifferent pines. Stylishly shot with a creeping dread, this forgotten 80s slasher pits teenage privilege against primal savagery, delivering a tension-soaked descent into terror that will leave you breathless.
