When the Atlantic Ocean turns into a mass grave, a team of specialists is summoned to a clandestine facility to unravel the mystery behind a rash of bizarre beachside deaths. As forensic scientist Dr. Ana (Nana Gouvea) scrutinizes disturbing video evidence, she uncovers a chilling pattern pointing to an ancient, parasitic force lurking beneath the waves. But when a grizzled detective (Tom Sizemore) hands her the scribbled ravings of a deranged homeless man (Jonny Bea), the investigation spirals into a waking nightmare where science collides with the supernatural. Trapped in a labyrinth of secrets and shadow, the team must confront a horror that has risen from the deep, hungry and waiting. Black Wake is a slow-burn descent into madness where the line between reality and delusion dissolves, leaving only the chilling certainty that something in the dark has been watching all along.
