In the sleepy, picture-perfect town of Sweet Tee, Alabama, the locals pride themselves on their charming, family-friendly community. But beneath the placid surface of the Tennessee River that winds through the heart of town lurks a nightmare—a ravenous swamp creature with an insatiable appetite for human flesh. When a down-on-his-luck journalist, a burnout hippie, and a brilliant scientist stumble into its hunting ground, they must confront a horror that the townspeople have desperately tried to keep buried. As the body count rises and the truth begins to surface, they realize that the legend is all too real, and escaping Sweet Tee might be the only way to survive the beast’s relentless hunger.
