A crew of disillusioned twentysomethings, chasing the macabre legend of a backwoods serial killer, veer off course and stumble upon a crumbling, abandoned carnival. There, beneath the peeling paint of a forgotten big top, they awaken something far more sinister than mere urban myth. As the sun dips below the mangroves, a troupe of demented, childlike grotesques emerge, their greasepaint smiles hiding a ravenous hunger. What begins as a search for a ghost becomes a fight for survival against a nightmare that feeds on flesh and festivity, where every shadow hides a toothy grin and every scream is swallowed by the cacophony of a twisted circus.
