In the grim underbelly of a city that never sleeps, private investigator Jack Marlowe takes on a routine surveillance job that spirals into a waking nightmare. The woman he’s hired to tail seems ordinary—until her shadow moves against the light and her eyes hold a hunger that is not human. As Jack digs deeper, he uncovers a trail of occult rituals and unspeakable bargains, realizing too late that he’s not just chasing a suspect—he’s bait for a demon that has been waiting for him. With every step, the line between hunter and prey blurs, and Jack must confront a truth that will shatter his sanity or make him the next vessel for an ancient evil. Aversion is a chilling descent into paranoia where the most terrifying enemy is the one you never see coming—until it’s already inside.
