In the steamy, shadow-drenched corridors of a Turkish bathhouse, secrets simmer beneath the surface. When a sly gangster targets his own wife, who works amid the brothel’s murky depths, he conspires with the owner’s enigmatic wife to set a trap. But as desires twist into dangerous obsessions, the bathhouse itself becomes a character—its hot steam concealing whispered betrayals and its tiled walls echoing with unseen terrors. This 1975 cult gem from Kazuhiko Yamaguchi blends gritty crime with a creeping sense of dread, building to a chilling climax that lingers long after the steam clears.

User Reviews
RetroHorrorDiva – 7/10
“For a 70s film, the atmosphere is thick and unsettling. The bathhouse setting is perfect for paranoia and secrets. Not perfect, but a hidden gem for fans of slow-burn dread.”
UndergroundCinephile – 4/10
“I appreciate what it tried to do, but it felt too scattered. The acting was melodramatic and the plot dragged in parts. Some genuinely creepy moments, but they're buried under uneven pacing.”
FoggyBasement – 6/10
“The eerie ambiance really drew me in, and Yamaguchi's direction has some striking shots. The story gets convoluted, but if you're into offbeat horror with a noir twist, it's worth a watch.”
ShroudOfHorror – 5/10
“It's a mixed bag for me. The creepy bathhouse vibes are strong, but the betrayal plot didn't quite hit the horror mark. Fans of old-school exploitation might enjoy it, but it's not a must-see.”
