User Reviews
GhostlyWhisper – 8/10
“The atmosphere is absolutely mesmerizing—the fog, the eerie temple, the tragic ghost. It's more of a dark fairy tale than a straight horror, but it still gave me chills. The mix of romance and supernatural dread is done perfectly.”
NightOwl22 – 7/10
“I loved the practical effects and the beautiful cinematography. The ghost's movements are so eerie and elegant. The plot is a bit dated, but the emotional core really pulls you in. Definitely a classic that still holds up.”
ScareSeeker – 6/10
“I was expecting more scares, but it's more of a romantic fantasy with horror elements. The tree demon is terrifying though! The singing tongue scene gave me nightmares. It's a bit slow in places, but the visuals are stunning.”
HorrorBuff_1987 – 9/10
“A masterpiece of Hong Kong cinema! The blend of action, horror, and tragedy is seamless. The ghost girl is heartbreaking, and the final battle is epic. This is one of those rare films that makes you feel for the monster. Highly recommended for fans of atmospheric horror.”
