In 1982, a tragic event occurred in a small town in Oregon. Three people were found murdered in a house near an old, abandoned field. Two brothers and the older brother’s wife were discovered dead within two weeks of each other, their necks broken by an unknown force. The house was quickly boarded up by the father of the brothers, and two white dogs were left to guard the property from curious onlookers.
A year later, my family moved into the area, and we kids would often ride our bikes near the field. Every time we got too close to the fence, the dogs would jump up and bark, scaring us away. One day, however, the dogs just sat there, staring up at a window. We looked up and saw three figures standing there, watching us. Terrified, we took off immediately.
Later, the police brought us back, thinking we might have done something wrong. They contacted the father to open the house. We explained what we had seen, but after entering the house, they told us no one had been inside. The owner then revealed that it was impossible for us to have seen the dogs, as they had died two weeks earlier. That’s when we realized we had seen the ghosts of the three murdered people and their dogs.
The house was never sold and was eventually torn down. To this day, the lot remains empty because no one dares to build on it. It’s believed that whatever killed them still lingers, waiting for its next victims.
