A few hours ago, I was in the kitchen, doing homework and eating some fruit. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I thought it was my brother, but when I opened the door, nobody was there. Then I heard a whisper saying, “Talk to me.” It was soft, but very clear. I was surprised, but went back to my work.
Later, my phone rang on a line we don’t usually use. When I answered, a raspy voice whispered, “Talk to me.” I hung up immediately. Now I was really scared. I called my brother to come home with some friends for help. A few of them stayed in the kitchen with me while I finished homework.
While we were working, one of the friends, Joe, said he heard the same voice. We decided to take a walk with my dog. As we walked, we heard rustling in the bushes. Out of the bushes, we heard the raspy voice again say, “Talk to me.” Joe bravely stepped closer and asked what it wanted, but the bushes stayed still. He turned pale and said he saw a face in the leaves.
We kept walking to the park at the top of the hill. There, a man we had never seen before appeared, dressed in all white with long blond hair. He sat nearby on a bench, whispered “Talk to me,” and disappeared before we could move.
Frightened, we ran back home. Even now, we don’t understand what followed us that night, and why the voice kept repeating the same words.
