My wife and I lived in a small apartment, and we loved watching horror movies and paranormal TV shows. Ghost stories were just entertainment to us—we never took them seriously.
One night, around midnight, I was half asleep when I saw something behind the bedroom curtain. It had long, wild hair moving as if there was wind, and a pale hand reached out from the fabric. I felt frozen in fear. My body wouldn’t move, but my mind screamed at me to wake up before it stepped out.
Finally, I forced myself to sit up, my heart pounding. At that exact moment, my wife also sat up, looking terrified. We stared at each other, and I whispered, “Did you have a bad dream?” She pointed at the curtain and described exactly what I had just seen.
We were so shaken that we left the bedroom and stayed in the living room until morning. That was the only time we ever saw anything, but we never forgot that night.
