My name is Clara, and I have two children, Mia and Ethan. Mia is 6, and Ethan is 9. We once had two dogs, Bella and Max. Bella was a playful Beagle, and Max was a loyal Golden Retriever. We brought them home on the same sunny afternoon. They filled our lives with joy for three wonderful years until a tragic accident took them from us. Losing them left a heavy sadness in our hearts.
One evening, as I was cleaning the kitchen, I caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye. I turned just in time to see Bella’s familiar shape dart past the window. I gasped, and my husband rushed in, concerned. “What’s wrong?” he asked. I stammered, “I saw Bella! She was right there!” My husband looked puzzled and searched the yard. “Clara, there’s nothing here… wait! I think I saw Max outside!”
After that strange moment, we decided it was best to move to a new home, hoping to ease our grief. The new place was quiet and calm. As I unpacked the last of the boxes, I stumbled upon a bag of dog toys I thought I had given away. Just as I was about to toss it, I saw Bella and Max, their tails wagging, peering through the window. I stood frozen in disbelief! I ran to tell my children, but they just smiled, believing it was my imagination playing tricks on me.
