Late one night, as the clock struck two, Jason settled into bed after turning off the lamp. He lay still, one arm stretched above his head and the other resting by his side, both palms facing up. Moments passed, and he began to feel a strange sensation creeping over him, like a gentle tickle.

Thinking it was just an itch, he attempted to lift his arm to scratch. To his surprise, it wouldn’t budge. Confused, he tried to move his other arm, but it too remained still. Panic began to bubble within him as he felt an increasing weight pressing down on both arms. Jason’s heart raced, and his mind raced with questions. Why couldn’t he move? What was happening?

As the pressure intensified and his arms began to ache, fear wrapped around him like a tight blanket. He was unable to call out, worried about waking his family who were peacefully sleeping down the hall. The tingling sensation spread, enveloping him in a bizarre and frightening experience. Just when he thought it couldn’t get any stranger, he felt his hands begin to twitch involuntarily, as if they had a mind of their own.

In that moment of sheer bewilderment, Jason felt a mix of fear and curiosity. What force was at play? Was it a dream or something beyond his understanding? Despite being unable to move, he focused on his breathing, trying to remain calm in the face of the unknown. The night stretched on, each second feeling like an eternity, as he fought against the invisible grip that held him in place, waiting for dawn to bring clarity and relief.
