Four years ago, I had an unsettling experience that still lingers in my mind. I traveled to a distant land known for its peculiar traditions, where people paid homage to ancient spirits, hoping to gain their favor. Intrigued, I visited various old temples and places of worship, feeling drawn to their mysteries. At times, I sensed a strange heaviness in the air, as if something was pressing in on me.

When I returned home, an odd feeling settled over me. I began to notice things out of the corner of my eye—dark shapes that vanished when I turned to look. I caught myself speaking to these shadows, unsure if I was losing my mind. One night, my son woke up crying, terrified after a nightmare. He gasped, saying he had seen me trapped in a swirling dark mist.

That same night, I found myself awake at exactly 3:00 AM, jolted from a vivid nightmare. My heart raced, and the chill in the room felt tangible. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something had followed me home, and the shadows in my house were no longer just tricks of the light.
