The Forgotten House on Maple Street

In the summer of 1980, a tragic event unfolded in a small town near Maple Street. A couple and their close friend were discovered lifeless in their home, each victim found in a disturbing manner. The community was shaken, and the house quickly became an object of fear and curiosity, sealed off from the outside world by the grieving family.

Months later, a new family moved into the neighborhood. The children, full of energy, often played near the abandoned house. Whenever they ventured too close, an old, scruffy dog would bark fiercely, warning them to stay away. One afternoon, however, everything changed. Instead of barking, the dog sat still, staring intently at an upper window.

Intrigued, the kids looked up and saw silhouettes moving behind the glass, three figures watching them silently. Fear gripped them, and they ran home in a panic. Later, concerned by their distressed faces, the local police decided to investigate. They contacted the house’s owner, who reluctantly allowed them to enter.

The officers searched the house but found it empty, dust settling in the corners, and the only sound was the creaking of the old floorboards. The owner insisted that no one had been inside for months. Confused and unsettled, the children were left to wonder if what they had seen was a trick of the light, a figment of their imagination, or something far more mysterious. The house remained untouched, a haunting reminder of the past that lingered in their minds, and the dog continued to guard its secrets quietly, day after day.
