One evening, my friend and I decided to take some pictures using my webcam. We were trying to get a good shot, so I took about thirty photos in quick succession. Afterward, we started reviewing the pictures to see which one looked the best. As we were scrolling through, my friend suddenly said, “Hey, go back to that last picture.”

I scrolled back, and we both couldn’t believe what we saw. There was an image of someone or something next to me, right on my shoulder. It had long hair, eyes, a nose, and a mouth. We were both freaked out. We were sure there had to be an explanation, but we couldn’t think of one. We had been sitting still, and the background was just a wall with sheetrock insulation, a mini fridge, and some junk.

After that, I took more pictures with the webcam, but I never saw that image or anything like it again. I even tried taking photos when I was alone, but nothing unusual ever appeared. The experience left us both puzzled and a little spooked, wondering what we had captured in that one eerie photo.
