I don’t really know how to begin this, but I’ll try.

My father always carried a heavy sadness with him. His past was rough, full of pain, and no matter what he did, it seemed to follow him. It was like a shadow, always there, always watching.

One night, I decided to help him. I thought maybe if I could clear some of the bad energy around him, he could finally find peace.

I sat down, closed my eyes, and went deep into meditation. I pictured him standing there, surrounded by darkness. I asked for light to surround him, to protect him, to heal him. At first, everything seemed fine.

Then, things changed.

I imagined a bright flame burning away everything that wasn’t good, everything that didn’t belong to him. Around it, I saw a deep blue light for protection and a soft white glow for healing.

That’s when I felt it.

Something pushed back.

The darkness around him didn’t shrink—it grew stronger. I could feel it pressing against me, resisting. The air around me felt heavy. My body started to shake, like I was caught in a strong wind. But I didn’t stop. I kept focusing on the light, on the fire.

The resistance grew worse. My whole body vibrated, my breathing became fast, and suddenly—SNAP—I was thrown out of my meditation. My eyes flew open, and I sat up, sweating, gasping for air, like I had been fighting something real.

Then, I heard a voice.

“It is not safe. Never again.”

I don’t know who said it. But I knew they were right.

That was the first and last time I ever tried to help my father that way.
