Tom Leimer, a man haunted by a criminal past, arrives on the sun-drenched island of Gotland, hoping to rekindle a lost love with Therese Sandström. But she has moved on, entangled in the privileged world of Karl von Silberhelm, leaving Tom a broken outsider. As the balmy summer nights descend, a mysterious virus erupts, transforming the idyllic landscape into a nightmare of shambling horrors. Tom’s quest for redemption turns into a desperate struggle for survival, forcing him to confront both the undead and the ghosts of his own choices. The line between the living and the dead blurs as paradise becomes a prison of blood and decay.
