When a virulent strain of the mysterious “Virion” virus sweeps across Russia, turning its victims into rabid, flesh-hungry monsters, the once-thriving city of Kazan becomes a nightmarish tomb. Amidst the chaos, a young girl, her teenage brother, and a mysterious stranger form an uneasy alliance, fleeing the infected metropolis in a desperate bid for safety. But as their fuel runs dry on an endless, desolate highway, surrounded by hordes of the ravenous undead, they must confront the darkest corners of human nature and the terrifying choices that survival demands. In a world where trust is as scarce as hope, every mile brings them closer to the edge of madness, and the line between the living and the damned blurs.
