In the eerie suburbs of Adelaide, Australia, a clandestine unit of paranormal investigators storms a derelict home, only to uncover a cache of bewitched VHS tapes. As they huddle around a flickering monitor, the grimy footage reveals not just the previous inhabitants’ descent into madness, but a gateway to something far more sinister. Each tape peels back another layer of dread, blurring the line between the viewers and the viewed, until the tapes begin to watch back. A chilling found-footage descent into analog horror that will have you second-guessing every static-ridden frame.

“I'm a sucker for analog horror, and this one nailed the creepy VHS aesthetic. The tension builds nicely with each tape, and there were a couple of moments that genuinely made me jump. It doesn't break any new ground, but for a rainy night with the lights off, it hits the spot.”

“The premise had me hooked, but the execution felt a bit disjointed. Some tapes were more interesting than others, and the ending left me a little cold. Still, the atmosphere was unsettling, and the acting from the agents was believable enough. Not a must-watch, but not a total waste.”

“I enjoyed the slow-burn creepiness, but I wish the scares were more consistent. The library scene gave me chills! Some of the tape segments felt like filler, but the overall vibe was properly eerie. A solid watch for horror fans, just don't expect a rollercoaster.”

“It had its moments, but I found myself checking my phone a few times. The found-footage format is overdone, and this one didn't do enough to stand out. The acting was decent, but the payoff wasn't worth the slow build. If you're new to horror, maybe. For me, it was meh.”
