Under the stark New Mexico sky, a mineralogist student’s life is shattered when a meteor fragment lodges in his skull. As the moon rises, he undergoes a horrifying metamorphosis into a scaly, reptilian predator with an insatiable thirst for blood. He awakens each morning with no memory of the savage hunts that terrorize the desert town. Hunted by authorities and haunted by fragments of his monstrous actions, he races to uncover the truth before the beast within consumes him completely.
