Blog & StoriesIn ‘The Shells’, a group of amateur filmmakers, led by a dangerously enthusiastic director, retreat to an abandoned DOD research facility to shoot a film about a dream researcher who vanished during a secret neurological experiment. As they begin production, the line between fiction and reality blurs, and the facility’s dark history begins to seep into their consciousness. Strange noises and unsettling visions plague the crew, and they soon realize they are not alone—or perhaps what they’ve awakened is far more sinister than they could have imagined. The closer they get to unraveling the mystery, the more they find themselves trapped in a nightmare from which there is no waking. Will they finish their film or become the next subjects of a terrifying experiment?
