In ‘The Remedy,’ a young man’s life is a suffocating prison of caregiving for his dying mother and fragile sister. Desperate to find a cure, he stumbles upon a forbidden practice that awakens a ravenous entity from the shadows. As the line between salvation and damnation blurs, the house becomes a nest of terror, and every heartbeat is a countdown to a feast. Alex Kahuam crafts a claustrophobic, dread-soaked nightmare where love is a curse and hope is the first victim.

ScaryFan88 – 8/10
“The atmosphere is thick enough to cut with a knife. I loved how the house felt like its own character, and the entity's design was genuinely unsettling. It's not just jump scares; it's a slow burn that gets under your skin.”
GoreHound – 6/10
“Some good creepy moments, but the pacing dragged for me. The family drama was well-acted, but I needed more scares and less talking. The final act was satisfying though.”
MamaMia – 9/10
“This movie broke me. The performances were so raw and real, and the horror was psychological as much as physical. It made me think about how far I'd go for family, and that's terrifying.”
NightOwl – 7/10
“Solid indie horror with a strong premise. The entity was creepy, and the sound design was fantastic. Not perfect, but definitely worth a watch for horror fans who appreciate character-driven stories.”
