In 2011, Mark Harris’s chilling cult thriller ‘The Lost Children’ ensnares audiences in a web of psychological manipulation and dark mysticism. Fleeing a childhood of privilege and pain, New York heiress Evelyn Hamilton stumbles into the insidious grip of the Lost Children, a charismatic cult promising belonging and transcendence. As she rises through its ranks, Evelyn begins to outshine the very leader who seduced her, falling deeper into a seductive delusion of divine origin and supernatural powers. But at what cost? The film masterfully blurs the line between salvation and destruction, leaving viewers questioning every shadow and whisper long after the credits roll.
