In the sweltering heat of a secluded homestead, Stan rules with an iron fist, demanding absolute obedience from his family. His wife Ophy finds solace in scripture, while his one-eyed stepson Teddy and beautiful step-niece Maddy tread carefully around his violent temper. But Stan’s thirst for control takes a sinister turn when he discovers a darker way to boost his landscaping profits: eliminating his workers one by one instead of paying them. As bodies pile up and suspicion gnaws at the household, tensions escalate to a breaking point where no one is safe from Stan’s murderous greed.
