When a routine excavation at the La Brea Tar Pits uncovers something ancient and malevolent, the city of Los Angeles becomes a hunting ground for a creature that has been waiting millennia beneath the asphalt. As the tar begins to seep through the streets, a small group of strangers must uncover the dark history of the pits to survive the night. With every bubbling pool hiding a new terror, the line between natural history and nightmare blurs in this chilling, atmospheric horror that will make you think twice before stepping onto city ground.
