In this unsettling 1975 grindhouse shocker, a young woman’s home becomes a nightmarish prison where the lines between family and tormentor blur into a grotesque haze. As her father—a figure who seems disturbingly youthful despite his years—and a complicit maid subject her to unspeakable cruelty, the house itself feels soaked in dread. But when the patriarch is finally subdued, strapped into a straitjacket that’s all too theatrical, a chilling detail emerges: his hair, once gray, has turned brown. It’s a haunting hint that identity itself is a floating mask, and the true horror may be far from over.
