When three desperate, struggling filmmakers land what seems like their dream gig—documenting the making of a big-budget studio horror—they can’t believe their luck. But on location at a notoriously cursed asylum, the line between fiction and reality blurs into a waking nightmare. As they dig deeper into the site’s dark history, they unleash a malevolent force that’s hungrier and far more real than any special effect. Their ambition becomes a trap, and the camera captures terror beyond imagination. The ultimate behind-the-scenes footage becomes a record of their own gruesome destruction.
