After twenty-two years in a psychiatric facility, Norman Bates is deemed sane enough to return to the infamous motel and the looming house on the hill. His mother’s voice whispers in his ear, and a series of sinister events suggests that the cycle of madness is far from over. With a new manager, a secret admirer, and a web of manipulation, Norman must fight to hold onto his fragile sanity as the line between reality and delusion blurs. User Reviews
NormanLives – 7/10
“I thought this was a worthy follow-up. Anthony Perkins is superb, and the movie really plays with your mind. Some scenes gave me genuine chills, especially the ones with the mother. A must-watch for horror fans.”
SlasherFanatic – 6/10
“Not as groundbreaking as the original, but definitely underrated. The atmosphere is thick and creepy, and the twists caught me off guard. It's a bit slow in the middle, but the finale is worth it.”
HorrorNerd93 – 5/10
“For me, it lacked the raw shock of the first film. The plot is convoluted and sometimes frustrating, but Perkins' performance keeps you hooked. It's decent if you're in the mood for a psychological thriller, but don't expect a masterpiece.”
DeathByCinema – 8/10
“I really enjoyed this one! It's a smart sequel that adds layers to Norman's character without ruining the original. The twist at the end was fantastic and made me rethink everything. Highly recommended for those who love slow-burn horror.”
