When a group of friends seeks a thrill by performing an occult ritual, they unwittingly open the door to a waking nightmare. As their grip on reality frays, hallucinations and nightmares bleed into the waking world, and the line between dream and death dissolves. Each of them begins to see horrors that feel all too real, and as they try to convince themselves it’s all in their heads, people around them start dying in gruesome, inexplicable ways.
