Phantasm II

Phantasm II

Year R 1h 37m

Five years after the nightmarish events that shattered his world, Mike is released from a psychiatric hospital with fragments of his terrifying dreams still haunting him. When his old friend Reggie discovers that the Tall Man is very real and continues his gruesome work in remote towns, the two survivors hit the road in a blood-splattered pursuit. Armed with a quadruple-barreled shotgun and fueled by vengeance, they carve a path through gutted farmhouses and mortuaries where the dead rise and silver spheres whiz through the air. A surreal descent into a necromantic nightmare, this sequel cranks up the gore and the otherworldly dread, where every stop brings them closer to a dimension of mausoleums and pillars of alien machinery.

User Reviews

GoreGalore7/10

“I thought the sequel amped up the action without losing the creepy vibe of the first. The Tall Man is still terrifying, and that quadruple-barreled shotgun scene? Pure gold.”

SuspenseSeeker5/10

“For me, it traded atmosphere for explosions, and I missed the eerie desert landscapes. But the graveyard scenes gave me chills and the practical effects hold up surprisingly well.”

DreamWeaver888/10

“I loved how it expanded the mythology, even if the plot gets a bit messy. The dream sequences are still unsettling, and the Tall Man's pursuit of Mike and Reggie feels relentless.”

HorrorNostalgia6/10

“It's a mixed bag for me – some great scares and a killer soundtrack, but the pacing drags in the middle. Still, the ending left me wanting more, so I'll give it a pass.”
