After a long, weary journey, Daven and Karen seek solace in a serene, picturesque clearing, only to have their peace shattered by a brutal, unprovoked assault from a mysterious, cult-like group known only as the Illuminati. In a harrowing sequence of violence, Karen is viciously violated and loses her life, while Daven is left beaten and broken, teetering on the edge of consciousness. Traumatized beyond measure, his fragile grip on reality begins to unravel, blurring the lines between what is real and what is a terrifying delusion. As he descends into a nightmarish vortex of paranoia and madness, every shadow becomes a threat, and every face could be his next tormentor. Percepción is a chilling exploration of a mind shattered by trauma, where the horror lies not in the monsters outside, but in the ones that crawl out from within.
