When a woman’s attempt to drag her pre-op transgender friend out for a night of dancing falls flat, she dismisses it as a fleeting mood. But the next day, her friend has vanished without a trace, leaving behind an unsettling silence that gnaws at her conscience. As she searches the empty spaces of their shared world, she uncovers a web of secrets and a creeping dread that suggests her friend’s disappearance is far more sinister than a simple runaway. Nessa is a haunting exploration of identity, regret, and the terrifying unknown that lurks just beyond the edge of our understanding.
