In the shadowy corners of a quiet Indonesian village, something ancient and malevolent stirs. When the gentle elderly Rusmini falls under the sway of a vengeful spirit, she transforms into a nightmarish bloodsucker, her thirst for the living growing with each moonrise. A tenacious journalist, drawn by whispers of unnatural deaths, digs into the village’s dark secrets, uncovering a terrifying link between the possessed woman and a curse that refuses to die. As the body count climbs and the line between reality and folklore blurs, he realizes that some horrors are best left buried. Nenek Lampir is a chilling 1980s classic that oozes atmosphere, delivering goosebumps with every creaking floorboard and blood-chilling scream.
