In the secluded halls of a convent, piety masks a sinister secret as a malevolent presence begins to corrupt the sisters. What starts as whispered confessions and unsettling visions spirals into a nightmare of forbidden desire and unholy hunger, when the nuns fall under a demonic spell that awakens their darkest lusts. As the abbot becomes the object of their twisted affections, the line between devotion and damnation blurs, plunging the sanctuary into a chilling battle for their souls. Bruno Mattei’s 1981 cult shocker weaves a tapestry of eerie atmosphere and transgressive horror, where faith is a fragile shield against the infernal urges that lurk beneath the habit.
