LatvianNightmare – 8/10
“This animated film might be from '93, but its eerie atmosphere and subtle horror elements are timeless. The cat's journey felt like a slow walk through a dream from which you're not sure you'll wake. The sad king's backstory gave me chills.”
HorrorLover22 – 7/10
“I didn't expect such a melancholic fairy tale to be this creepy. The animation is simple but effective, and the constant sense of unease kept me glued. The ending left me thinking for days.”
GoreHound_99 – 6/10
“It's more atmospheric than outright scary, but the underlying dread is real. I appreciated the unique take on a classic journey, though the pacing dragged in places. Still, a haunting piece of animation.”
MysticMoon – 9/10
“For me, this was a masterpiece of quiet horror. The way it captures sadness as something tangible and foreboding is brilliant. The cat's perseverance against the bleakness was both inspiring and chilling. A hidden gem.”
