Nearly two decades after their mother vanished without a trace, sisters Sofia and Kassie Lind are haunted by the past. When an anonymous photograph surfaces, revealing their mother captive in a remote Norwegian village, the sisters are torn between disbelief and a desperate glimmer of hope. Joined by a skeptical film crew, they journey into the isolated, fog-shrouded wilderness, where the line between reality and nightmare blurs. As they close in on the truth, an ancient, malevolent force awakens, and the sisters realize that some secrets are buried not to be found, but to be kept forever. In this chilling atmospheric thriller, the past refuses to stay dead, and the forest holds more than just answers—it harbors a creeping, insatiable dread that will test their sanity and their bond.
