Hell's Gate

Hell's Gate

Year 1h 25m
7.4/10

When Bobby and Janet Mackey take over a run-down bar, they think they’re starting a new life. But the establishment has a dark, sordid history—one that’s about to resurface with a vengeance. As strange occurrences escalate and the past merges with the present, the couple uncovers a terrifying truth: the bar isn’t just haunted—it may be sitting on the Gateway to Hell itself. With the spirits of the dead growing stronger and the line between worlds blurring, the Mackeys must confront their own past sins before the gateway is torn open for good. A chilling descent into supernatural terror, Hell’s Gate will make you think twice about that ‘great deal’ on a fixer-upper.

NightTerror818/10

“I wasn't expecting much from a 2010 horror, but Hell's Gate really delivers on atmosphere. The bar setting is creepy as hell, and the way the past bleeds into the present had me on edge the whole time. Definitely one of the better ghost stories I've seen.”

GhoulWatcher7/10

“Solid horror with a great premise. The acting is a bit uneven, but the buildup is strong and the finale is genuinely unsettling. I loved the whole 'gateway to hell' concept, though I wish they'd explored it a bit more. Still, worth a watch.”

SinisterSam6/10

“It had some genuinely creepy moments, but for me, it dragged in the middle. The characters made a few too many dumb decisions, which kinda took me out of it. But the ending saved it—I didn't see that twist coming. A decent watch if you're into demonic hauntings.”

FinalGirl239/10

“This one hit all the right notes for me. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the way the past lives of the characters intertwine with the present is brilliant. The scares are earned, and the story is deeper than your typical possession flick. Highly recommend!”
