When a struggling rock band and its entourage of impressionable groupies hit the road for a string of seedy gigs, the thrill of the open highway quickly curdles into dread. Their hulking, alcohol-soaked bass player, a simmering powder keg of violence, crosses an unforgivable line, leaving the girls shattered and traumatized. Yet the band, blinded by loyalty and a desperate need to keep the tour alive, chooses to bury the truth and keep him close. As they spiral deeper into a nightmare of denial and complicity, the stage lights dim and the music fades, replaced by an undercurrent of menace that promises more blood before the last encore.
