User Reviews
MidnightWatcher – 9/10
“This movie got under my skin in a way few horrors do. The atmosphere is oppressive, and the slow build-up of dread is masterful. The acting, especially from the lead, is incredibly convincing. A must-watch for fans of psychological horror.”
GoreHound – 7/10
“While I prefer more visceral scares, 'Basenji' impressed me with its eerie mood and complex story. It's more about unsettling you than jumping out at you, and it works. The ending left me thinking for days.”
NightOwl – 8/10
“I went in blind and was blown away. The haunting imagery and the sense of inescapable dread stayed with me long after the credits. It's a slow burn, but if you stick with it, it pays off in spades.”
HorrorFanatic – 8/10
“A subtle, eerie film that relies on atmosphere and psychological tension rather than cheap scares. The performances are solid, and the plot twist is genuinely shocking. It's a refreshing take on the genre that deserves more attention.”
