What begins as a cozy yule log broadcast transforms into a mind-bending nightmare when a couple and a group of podcasters discover their mountain cabin is double-booked. As the snow falls and the fire crackles, an ancient evil awakens, twisting their reality into a surreal and horrifying ordeal. Blending dark humor with genuine dread, this film traps you in a claustrophobic loop where every flicker of the log spells doom. User Reviews
HorrorHound88 – 7/10
“The premise is brilliantly absurd, and the way it shifts from cozy to creepy is masterful. As someone who loves experimental horror, this was right up my alley. The podcaster banter felt realistic, and the yule log framing gave me chills.”
ScreamQueen99 – 5/10
“I wanted to love this, but it felt a bit too weird for me. The atmosphere was solid, but the kills were few and far between. I did appreciate the unique approach, though. Worth a watch if you're into surreal horror.”
MidnightMovieMaven – 8/10
“This is a hidden gem! The slow burn was perfectly paced, and the sound design was unnerving. I loved how it played with the yule log tradition, and the final act blew my mind. Definitely recommend to genre fans.”
GhoulGamer – 6/10
“It's a fun ride, but not without its flaws. The plot gets a bit convoluted, and some scenes dragged. However, the acting was decent, and the creep factor was high. I'd say it's a solid one-time watch.”
