In ‘Abattoir,’ investigative reporter Julia Talben is thrust into a chilling nightmare when her sister’s family is brutally murdered. Determined to uncover the truth, she teams up with a skeptical police officer to trace a sinister real estate scheme that collects rooms from houses of tragedy. As they delve deeper, they encounter a terrifying entity that manipulates space and time, bending reality to create a house of horrors. The film weaves a gothic, atmospheric tale of vengeance and the macabre, where the walls themselves seem to whisper secrets. With Darren Lynn Bousman’s signature visual style, ‘Abattoir’ is a slow-burn descent into madness that will leave you questioning the very nature of evil.
