Mike P. Nelson directs Beware Boiúna from a screenplay by Alan B. McElroy, based on a story by McElroy and Tony Giglio.
Nelson has already worked extensively within horror, including the 2021 Wrong Turn reboot and Silent Night, Deadly Night.
Interestingly, he is also the newly announced director of the next Saw movie, making Beware Boiúna an interesting project to watch before his return to the Saw franchise.
